The Nissan Skyline GT R R34 V Spec Midnight Purple III is now available as a 1/43 scale diecast model.
Introduced in January 1999, the R34 Skyline GT R represents a generation that refined the body from the R33 while further enhancing overall driving performance. Among the lineup, the V Spec is positioned as a higher grade model with a stronger race oriented focus, featuring dedicated aerodynamic parts, specially tuned suspension, and an active LSD to improve vehicle dynamics.
It is powered by the RB26DETT engine, producing 280 ps at 6800 rpm and 392 Nm at 4400 rpm. Although developed under the horsepower regulations of the time, it became a symbol of Japanese high performance engineering with significant hidden potential.
The drivetrain uses the ATTESA E TS all wheel drive system. In the V Spec, the combination of rear torque distribution control and an active LSD enhances both cornering performance and traction. In addition, a multifunction display is positioned in the center of the dashboard, creating a driver focused cockpit. As a result, the GT R solidified its reputation as a world class sports all wheel drive machine.
