The Lancia Stratos was developed as a purpose built rally car, and one of the most important chapters in its history is the 1975 Monte Carlo Rally victory, driven by Sandro Munari, who delivered an outstanding performance. This version does not feature the large roof spoiler or rear wing seen on later models, representing an early configuration before the full adoption of aerodynamic parts. It preserves the pure wedge shape design at its most iconic and beautiful stage.
In Kyosho’s 1/18 scale, the elegant body lines are faithfully reproduced, along with the detailed V6 engine beneath the cowl. Displaying it alongside the later Sanremo specification model allows collectors to enjoy the evolution of aerodynamics in the pursuit of WRC victory, which is one of the true pleasures of diecast collecting.
