    A range of newly designed components takes the performance capability of the PureTen GP 4WD V-ONE R4 to a new level. In the world of GP touring car racing, the PureTen is the machine of choice for many racers to compete in various 1/10 scale events including the KYOSHO CUP. With the V-ONE R4 Evo.2 as its base, the new Evo.3 incorporates a range of new components from the Evo.3 chassis conversion kit that was released in 2023. New main chassis features a modernized front bulkhead and stabilizer design, as well as center-fixed engine mounting that optimizes chassis flex and eliminates the quirks in steering characteristics through cornering. Modifications to the receiver and battery mounting tray improves chassis roll characteristics and simplifies battery replacement. However, one of the more intriguing aspects of the V-ONE R4 Evo.3 is that the kit is packaged for use with both sponge and rubber tires. The kit includes a clutch suitable for the OS-12TG engine with clutch springs optimal for rubber tires designated for the KYOSHO CUP as well as clutch springs for sponge tires to compete in open races. In addition, front side pulleys and shock springs are included for both rubber and sponge tires. With the worldwide race-proven reliability of the V-ONE R4 Evo.2 as its foundation, the race potency of the V-ONE R4 Evo.3 has been enhanced to deliver not only a racing edge, but also performance that will satisfy even the most demanding drivers.

    Evo.3 main chassis hits the sweet spot with optimal rigidity and moderate flex characteristics. Centering of the engine mounting screws equalizes left-right flex to achieve smooth and balanced cornering.

    Redesigned front bulkhead enables change to bar-type front stabilizers. Cornering characteristics can be fine-tuned by changing the wire diameter.

    Newly designed Evo.3 one-piece engine mount uses two centered mounting screws that equalizes left-right flex for improved control.

    Clutch unit is optimal for OS 12TG engines. Includes separate clutch springs for rubber tires and sponge tires respectively.

    New battery tray is made of lightweight and highly rigid black FRP. Receiver and servo batteries are fixed on the tray with tape and the tray is removed/detached for easy maintenance. (Battery not included)

    To accommodate the different front and rear drive ratios of rubber tires and sponge tires, front side pulleys with different module belts are included, allowing the drive ratio to be changed according to the type of tires.

    Hard-plated pillow balls used in the steering linkages, oil shocks, stabilizers etc. deliver smoother movement with increased reliability.
